That's it. I can't take it anymore. I MUST blog. The last time I posted something was on the site's birthday (9.17.08) and that's pretty ridiculous... well, not if you cant the actual last one of my refusal to use the old blog... Anyway, the reason for the awkward silence was because I was holding out for the new blog application that my host, Webs, was working on. And, well, it is finally here! Anyway, as you can see... or at least if you look closely, there is certainly something there to be excited about. This new blog application is integrated with your WebsID member profiles. So yes! You've been able to join the site with your own profile, post in the new forums, and other fun stuff... the last of the few upgrades on the site now include the blog! So this means that when you make a comment it will be under your WebsID and not a Freewebs username account or just anonymous. I am really excited about the new oppouritiny to get members to post comments easily! Also, in this new blog app, other people can post to it as well, but for now, it will just be me, but also, the staff on site! So it won't just be me rambling in the blog, but you may here from Andrew, Josh, and Laura as well! ;)Well, some news. Ughhh I don't even know where to begin. Ehhhh... just look around the site, and you'll see changes.
... Not gonna accept that, huh? Haha... fair enough. Well, I literally don't even know where to start. This is how I feel about trying to even begin explaining stuff to you.
Well, I'll make it fair.. ask me questions via the comments (using your new profiles... woohoo!!), and I will personally respond to your comment. If no one has anything to post for questions to ask... well, my work here is done!
Ok so, according to the title, this is more or less a contradicting post, but ehhh... anyway, there's so much to tell you guys since the last post in September, and when the new blog application is installed onto the site, you guys will receive the biggest, most awesome blog post informing you of everything from then up until now. Also, the new blog app will use your own WebsID accounts! Sadly, as you can already guess, it's...
I'm so excited for the release of the new blog application, which is currently slated for release in early December. Please hang tight, as I said, I will soon make up for all my lost time in the blog!! In the mean time, why not jump into the forums?! :] If not, (or even if you are going to the fourms) you are encourgaed to post a comment on this final post in the old blog saying how excited you are for my ramblings to soon return in all it's glory!
Look how excited Mario is... he's defying death!
Haha not really. In fact quite the opposite... and ALSO the name of our new video! This is the week of Nintendo Boy. First off, happy birthday to the site. It is 1 year old today, and my premium domain & email services are renewed for another year. Here's to another great year! xDAnyway, $30 later, here we are! Not too many videos since a year ago, but eh, we have fun with it. Speaking of videos, I've assumed you've already seen our brand new video, Boredom, along with the bloopers to it! I believe it's our best one, filmed in HD, but YouTube chipped the quality away, and the Freewebs-NB Site Player is just awful, but it's the alternative to be able to play it at my school and other areas where YouTube is difficult to access. If you haven't seen it, stop by the home page and be sure to rate/comment with your YouTube/Google Account!
And so, I think that's it for now. Just enjoy the videos, and keep coming back! As we work on the next video, The Rendezvous will soon return to being the center of attention... yes I know it's currently a somewhat dead end!
TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT US! x]
Forgetting to bring your Wii is not a good idea, as it will result in boredom, even though Nintendo Girl made a cameo! As Jeff suddenly realizes what he and his pals could be doing, they realize someone was watching them.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm ready for the cold to kick in. I'm tired of the heat, and loves when the fall/winter air arrives to cleanse us! You see, the way I feel, is that in the summer time, there's really nothing you can do except just sweat it out and be uncomfortable (however water and ice cream seem to taste better on these days!). In the winter time, you can actually do something about it, and that is to wear more comfy clothing! I'm sure you can probably find some loopholes in my argument, but yeah. :] Anyway, I felt the urge to make some information known to you that you probably did not know prior to reading this post!
If you haven't already, please direct your eyes to the Hot Topic model above. This guy is sporting the (in)famous Wii Hoodie I wore in Episode #1.3, Timebomb. I bought this with some Christmas money last year, along with some Hot Topic coupons (that place is expensive!!), and well, there were having a $10 off hoodie sale, which still ended up costing around $30ish. That being said, it pains me to tell you that you can now grab this one-of-a-kind hoodie for just $11.99! No joke, Hot Topic is getting rid of this awesome hoodie, so if you want to be just like Nintendo Boy (or not...), grab this amazing deal by clicking here!
I actually really like Hot Topic, and you'd be surprised at how much Nintendo goodies they have for sale if you've never been to their store. Just for kicks and giggles, I'd suggest you take a look at the Nintendo section of their site, and there's actually some really cool apparel there, and *some* of them are for an incredibly great price. Yes, if you were thinking this earlier, yes, this is my secret of Nintendo-geeky items; I wait until Hot Topic has a sale! Seriously though, they have things from plushies and messenger bags, to tons of really cool shirts. I promise you'll find something you like, so if you're trying to not spend money now, don't click here, where all the Nintendo stuff is!! :]
Alright, so, first off, thanks for the great response in the last post. I didn't mean it to sound as depressing as it actually sounded, so I kinda feel like beating myself up for it for making you guys feel bad, haha! First off, don't worry. The Nintendo Boy Project site is here to say. It may change in the future, it might not, but there will always be something good waiting for you here at NintendoBoy.com, owned and operated by me, Jeff. :DSo, in the mean time from the last post, school has started for me again! D: Which means, it will be harder to keep the site updated as much as I would like to, but I will do my best anyway, and of course keep school work as my priority! I have used some of my time to come up with some new ideas, and I have a great new video planned sometime in the next month. It shall be fantastic, and will really bring the site back into the game! (seriously though, I actually have something planned - and it might just blow you away) Thanks again for your crazy suggestions Darien, Rysspace, etc!Haha, but anyway, on top of that, I'm working on some top-notch features to grace the site. This app is currently in the beta phase, so it can act weird on you, but the beta build is usable! The new app, is WikiNB!
WikiNB is a brand new application on the site, and can be accessed through the lounge page with that shiny new button in there. So, you're probably wondering, what is WikiNB? Or maybe you're not, and you actually know. You should know if you are familiar with the site wikipedia.org. Yeah, we have something just like that here on the site! I'm quite excited for this new app, but sadly there are many bugs and glitches that still need to be ironed out on my end. BUT, I want YOU to test out right now. Go ahead and make your own little page that you can edit and put whatever you want on the site... but, keep things appropriate guys! Everyone who wants to access WikiNB must sign up for a WebsID account... for those who have accessed The Rendezvous, you can login with the same info! So yeah, go ahead and check out the WikiNB now!!! There are more specific directions at the actual Wiki if you are still confused, so don't be afraid to go look! Edit: No one used this, so I took it down. :(
And, The Rendezvous. Whew, how many times have we talked about this? :) It's back online in case you were wondering, but it has significantly changed... a lot. And, uh, I have for now put this game back in beta because of the change. That doesn't really mean much to you as it does to me, but uhh, if you do know what it means... yeah, that's the status! :P You will now be undertaking specific missions... so far, Mission 1 is now live and Mission 2 is currently in the works as I type this. Or, is it? You may want to go check that out to see what I mean! And, more will be added to this game with time, because I want this to be the main feature of the site, aside from the videos. This is gonna be big when it gets rolling, so go ahead and login back in and see what's new!
Well, that's all I have for you...? At least for now. So, thanks for stopping by again, and hope to see you working on the Wiki, playing the Rendezvous, or hey, even post in the lounge! :]
Well, there it is. I have nothing for you. Nothing really. Of course the main feature of this site is my videos that are somewhat good, but even that's becoming harder to pull off. I always have these great ideas in my head, but it's hard to get 'em on camera, and well, even harder to get my pals together to actually get something done. But when we do make a video, we're on cloud nine. But other than that, there's really nothing much, besides The Rendezvous, which still, sadly, has not had much attention due to problems that I've encountered in creating this one-of-a-kind game. Don't fret though, everyone who signed in into WebsID to access The Rendezvous will still be able to once it comes back online. More on that later.
So, like I said, or what I've been trying to say... I'm completely on empty. I can't really think of anything new to add to the site that would want you guys to keep coming back. I need ideas. What makes you keep coming back to this site... granted you aren't a newcomer, or a friend of mine? I want something really neat to be on the site, but I just can't think of anything. I have forums, but no one really posts. I have some games, which are good, but it is hard to find anymore good ones. And of course this blog, which hopefully keeps you entertained with my thoughts... I mean, that's it. What do you guys want to see here?
Hey guys, sorry for lack of updates this past week, but I was at band camp! Perhaps more on that later... anyway, here's a juicy new nRant to take up some of your time you really shouldn't be wasting... after all school is coming up for many of us soon! So, the last nRant was about the upcoming E3. Now that that has come and gone, I'm sure you've heard by now that it didn't live up to people's expectations. Maybe even the worst E3... not sure why really, but I kinda touched the subject on the last post... I wondered what they could pull out from their sleeves, and the answer was, sadly, not much. Of course there were new games announced and etc, and blah blah, but really, not much of 'breaking news' really hit. However, we did get new information from the big N, and the biggest news is a new accessory for the Wii remote which will be used with a new installment of Wii Sports.
That's right, you heard correctly. The sequel to the famous Wii Sports game that EVERY Wii Owner has (haha) is Wii Sports Resort. The game takes place at something of a beach resort, where your Mii will engage in more exciting activities. It was announced that there will be 10 games (as opposed to Wii Sports' 4) which include activities such as frisbee with a Mii dog (?), jet ski, and even some fencing, which is like sword play. Well, now you're thinking, oh that sounds kinda cool. It gets better. WSR will be the first game to utilize something called Wii Motion Plus. This accessory, which is attached to the bottom of your Wii remote, will allow 1:1 control! Yes, that's right, 1:1 control. For those of you who don't know what this is, basically, whatever you do with the remote will be copied exactly on the game in real time. So, imagine this while playing Zelda, and you swing the Wii remote (as the sword) in an awkward way, well, the way Link will swing the sword will be the exact way. Pretty awesome, no? This allows for more precise motion control, hence the name, Motion Plus.
I believe this to be a new step for the Wii, and it's a nice new addition. This accessory will debut sometime in Spring 2009, and will actually be bundled with Wii Sports Resort for $50. So, there's some bang for your buck. And as you can see in the picture to the right, the WMP accessory will also come with an extended version of the Wii Remote Jacket to work with WMP. Of course, the next line of games will most likely be using WMP to where they see fit, so shelling out the $50 for WSR and WMP doesn't sounds like such a bad deal. I mean, wouldn't you want to obtain the sequel to Wii Sports, the BEST-SELLING GAME THAT EVERY WII OWNER HAS?! Haha. Well, if you don't like my jokes, you may still enjoy WSR. I'll be honest and say that I played Wii Sports for maybe a week after I got my Wii, and then... eh. I mean, if I have Zelda, Mario Party, etc., why bother still playing Wii Sports? Of course I may be biased seeing as I'm somewhat of a hard-core gamer and don't fancy playing Mii Bowling too much, but the game is really perfect for anyone, and especially those who have really never even touched a gaming console.
So, what do you think? Are you gonna pick up this newest peripheral from Nintendo
At $50, it may be a bit pricy for just another simple game to use your Miis, but it may be little time just before every game is using the 1:1 motion feature of this new device, and you will be soon succumbed to join in on the latest craze.
Hello all... yet another blog post. I have taken The Rendezvous offline for the moment. There have been some "unforeseen" problems that affect said Rendezvous. I apologize if you are angered by this, but sadly you are in the minority. -sigh- I have to re-do some things in the game for it to be smoother and easier, and you not having to wait so long to do something, and also so it's less work for me. So... expect some rather big changes when the game re-opens. I apologize again... and for those who signed up for the Deku Tree Quests... well, that may not exist anymore, but you will still be signed up for a new event, so hang tight. And before you think I'm crazy, I have given some thought into these changes, so don't think I change things for fun.
Ok, so, on a lighter note, the game room has been flourished with another new game, the classic Donkey Kong. Also, I changed the thumbnail images to give it a consistent size, and plus, it looks prettier. And don't worry to those of you have embedded them on you own sites, the codes are still intact and should be working flawlessly. You hear that Rysspace? Your awesome new arcade game is fine! Thanks for playing our games! No, he is not an affiliate (yet...?), but he is a good friend and has linked me before. This post is for you Ryan! Haha, so speaking of other sites, we have had a bunch of more affiliates added to our list. Those sites are Nintendo Guy (no relation... haha), Jickaar (cool name), and iMovieFilmer (this site is owned and operated by our own Andrew Shain, the filmer of our videos).. So go check those out and say hi to those guys... they don't bite; but no promises with Andrew.
And er, I think that's it for updates.. for now. I will work on bringing the Rendezvous back online, and uhm... yeah. In the mean time, just head over to the game room! As you can see, new games are finally being added on a regular basis! :]
